Ladies and gentlemen, it is official: we have won our very first blog award! Simply Hike has anounced the results of the vote and we are the winner in the category ‘hiking and walking’.
We are so extremely proud about this (partly because we get a trophee, and both of us always wanted one of those!) and it’s great to see that you’ve enjoyed the hard work that has been put into the blog. When we were off walking we spent long hours writing and editing pictures, and we are grateful to see the results of that.
A massive thank you to everyone who has voted, once again you made it happen. You really keep us going and we hope to see you all hanging in for our Australian round as well.

t Ja, gaande weg heb ik het jullie meer dan eens vermeld…een ongekend schrijftalent van Eef dat zeker uitgegeven zou moeten worden;)
Jullie verhalen waren steeds fantatstisch. De manier waarop er telkens werd geschreven, de inhoud, de bijgevoegde foto’s… Steeds bracht het ons steeds ter plekke. We voelden alles, roken en hoorden het bijna en het was steeds alsof we naast jullie zaten rond een vuurtje en we jullie het hoorden vertellen. Het was alsof we samen met jullie die fameuze 3000km mee stapten , we beleefden zelfs die laatste meters life…..
We kunnen dus niet anders dan opnieuw met heel wat respect naar jullie te kijken over jullie te praten…
Hou die spirit, doe zo verder en be sure, we blijven volgen
